Pinit Elementary School is located in Barangay Pinit, Ligao City. It has
a land area of 5,000 sq.m. The school was established and institutionalized
in February of 2002 through the leadership of Cong. Fernando V. Gonzales.
With the help of the Barangay Captain Herculano B. Preňa, Sr., the
barangay officials and parents in the community, the first two room was
constructed. The pioneer teachers were Mrs. Jocelyn V. Pontejos and Mrs.
Emile G. Prudente, as the teacher in charge. From then on, there was an
increase in enrollment. As a result, additional teachers were added to the
staff and classrooms were built almost yearly.
At present, the school is still considered young. With the scalating of
enrollment, it needs more facilities for improvement and development
into a child-friendly school environment.
